Compressed natural gas is one of the cleanest-burning alternative fuels available with near-zero emissions. Approximately 98% of natural gas is produced in North America — enough to last more than 150 years.

Our new fleet of Freightliner CNG tractors will reduce Saddle Creek’s carbon footprint by approximately 103,000 pounds per truck each year – equivalent to planting 85,760 trees.
To provide fuel for the trucks, we’ve invested in a CNG fueling station on our Lakeland campus. This facility will be maintained by Clean Energy, the leading company for CNG site development in the country.
