Requirements to qualify as an approved carrier for SCTS:
- Valid operating authority (interstate and intrastate)
- DOT safety rating of "Satisfactory" or "None"
- Must be an asset-based carrier
- Minimum insurance coverage:
- Automobile liability - $1,000,000
- Cargo liability - $100,000
- Workers compensation as required by law
- Financially stable
