Saddle Creek Promotes Business Development Manager

Saddle Creek Corporation, a third-party logistics company, recently promoted Kimberly Devore to the position of manager of business development.
In her new role, Devore will oversee the development of new customer relationships and maintain organic growth within existing accounts. She is based in Saddle Creek’s corporate offices in Lakeland, Fla.
“Kim is a great fit for this position,” said Stephen Cook, vice president of marketing and business development at Saddle Creek. “Her experience as the company’s recruiting manager gives her a unique perspective on our people and our values and how critical those two things are in delivering service excellence to our customers. That experience, combined with her strengths in building relationships and developing solutions, makes her an excellent addition to the business development team here at Saddle Creek.”
Devore has more than 12 years of experience in the logistics industry, spending time in both the 3PL and the LTL transportation sectors. She served as a core member of both the corporate strategic planning and the growth initiative teams at Saddle Creek, developing programs for succession planning, associate development and recruiting for new start-up operations. Prior to joining Saddle Creek, Devore worked for Watkins Motor Lines, a national LTL transportation provider, as well as Advance Auto Parts, a national aftermarket auto parts retailer.
